The Centre for Innovation Law and Policy hosts periodic lunch talks about the intellectual property issues faced by iconic Canadian companies.

Julien Lachere, Senior Patent Agent for Bombardier Aerospace, will discuss the patent environment in the aerospace industry. Deterring patent infringement claims from competitors, protecting key innovative product features and generating licensing revenues - growing a portfolio of valuable patent assets is an attractive proposition to most technology company boards. Reality is often not that simple. Julien LacherĂ©, Senior Patent Agent at Bombardier Aerospace, talks about advising a client on setting up and growing a portfolio of patent assets.
